Extensive business data and process knowledge will be obtained and used in support of completing and maintaining business processes, reporting, and ad-hoc analysis, as well as process improvement efforts. This position will work closely with members of other data analytics teams, in addition to model development and regulatory/audit teams to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance and timely delivery of analysis. The Work Itself
- Deep understanding of data management principles and practices.
- Subject matter expert on retail automotive business process and data, allowance setting and stress testing, and regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for learning allowance and stress testing processes and workflow to obtain an overall picture of the retail automotive portfolio performance.
- Quarterly business processed and submissions require diligent timing and coordination with other teams.
- Maintain and improve allowance and stress testing processes to maximize workflow efficiency and better fulfill regulatory requirements.
- Research of new technologies, data and tools for data exploration, analysis and visualization.
- 3+ Years of Data Analysis and Data Science Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Information Science or similar background preferred. Master's Degree is a plus in Computer Science or Data Science
- Ability to work across cultures and functions
- Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Strong Microsoft Access, Excel, and Power Point skills
- Strong programming skills: SAS, R or Python preferred
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL or SAS SQL and experience with data querying
- Proficiency in Tableau, PowerBI or other reporting/analysis tools
- Technical expertise in data models, database design development, and data mining
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets.
