What you will be doing

Summary:

(Remote - Anywhere in the US)

  • Individuals in the Business Analysis role are responsible for serving as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization.
  • They collect, analyze, develop, document, communicate business requirements, and support user testing to achieve business goals.
  • Business Analysts continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, deepen client relationships, and effectively manage customer expectations.
  • Based on breadth and depth of understanding of business needs and processes, they collaborate with IT professionals to determine if solutions currently exist (internally or externally) or whether new solutions are feasible.
  • They take a broad perspective to determine how such solutions will impact existing work processes and systems, and how to manage the integration.
  • Business Analysis professionals are responsible for proactively identifying technology opportunities that impact corporate business strategies and performance.
  • Business Analysis professionals educate project team members on business unit goals and objectives and educate the business on the value of information technology.
  • They also display innovation in identifying, proposing, and overseeing the execution of business solutions.
  • Through adaptable communication skills and the ability to translate between technical and business language, they work collaboratively, negotiating requirements across multiple groups.
  • Business Analysts must have a solid understanding of the clients existing business processes, the key drivers and measures of success for the business, and the short- and long-term direction of the business and related technologies.
  • They must have a working knowledge of the business area that they support and should be equally aligned with the IT department.
  • Strong leadership, relationship management, interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills are also required.
  • Business Analysts work with business partners within one or more business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.
  • They will support one or more moderately to highly complex business processes and serve as a team member, sometimes as a technical lead.
  • Under the direction of IT Service Manager - AHP, the Business Solutions Analyst Lead role is responsible for serving as a liaison between the AHP business community and IT organization.
  • They will support the Record to Report (RTR) / Financial Accounting & Controlling (FICO) business process, collaborating with business and IT teams, seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and manage customer expectations.
  • The business analyst will partner with stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement and design enhancements in the SAP S/4 HANA solution that support customer needs.
  • They will work closely with development teams throughout all aspects of project delivery and daily production support.



Responsibilities:

  • Work with business partners to ensure complete requirements are captured and documented for effective technical solutions
  • Develops, writes and communicates business requirements and functional specifications for the implementation of business solutions
  • Documents current business processes and models
  • Develops user test cases and validates test results during testing
  • Execute test cases as needed for system testing and integration testing
  • Works with business partners to obtain user acceptance during testing
  • Creates training document and trains business users on new implementations
  • Recommend improvements in the existing business processes and systems setup
  • Responsible for the daily operation, maintenance and optimization of S/4 HANA system. Analyzes daily incidents / service requests, proposes and implements corresponding solutions and measures
  • Ensures delivery of communications to primary business teams on incidents and service request status updates.
  • Ensures that all system changes follow the current change management process
  • Updates and organizes documents such as Requirements, Functional Spec, Configuration, Testing and Training documents in MS Teams
  • Contributes to knowledge building across the team



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
  • Good understanding of business processes related to Finance, Controlling and Accounting processes, especially knowledge of product costing and overhead calculation in manufacturing industry
  • Experience in service design, delivery, and enhancements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a distributed team environment
  • SAP Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing/Packaging/Distribution Industry experience is preferred
  • S/4 HANA experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Should be available to work from 8AM to 5PM Eastern Time
  • SAP experience - Controlling (primary) and Finance (secondary) modules:
    • Controlling: Product Costing and Material Ledger, Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting. Must have good experience with Material Valuation and Account Determination, Product Cost Planning and Overhead Calculation for Process Manufacturing, Costing Versions, Quantity Structure Control, Additive Costing, Material Master, BOM, Recipe and Process Order integration, WIP and Variance Analysis and Settlement
    • Finance: New GL, Fixed Assets and Project Systems, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Bank Interface integration (EBS, Lockbox, ACH, Positive Pay, etc.)



What your background should look like

  • Bachelor's degree or in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically requires a minimum of five to seven (5-7) years of relevant technical and business work experience.
  • Requires experience/in-depth knowledge of business operations and systems requirements processes.
  • Proficiency in IIBA principles and practices.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' relevant technical or business work experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team / group setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

$91,200.00 - $127,700.00
