Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Procurement Analyst (Level 3) who defines, designs, plans and deploys internal/external projects. Develops processes and tools to measure key performance indicators. Extracts, analyzes and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performance-to-plan. Develops, documents and implements processes and systems in support of company goals. Builds supplier relationships. Ensures on time delivery of requirements from suppliers. Resolves constraints impacting supplier delivery. Sets priorities with suppliers to meet customer expectations. Supports the development and implementation of strategies. Identifies and implements improvements to streamline and automate process flows. Distributes, updates and tracks procurement plans for supply chain integration and procurement analysis. Assesses and reports compliance to internal/external stakeholders. Develops risk mitigation plan.
This role will be based out of Dallas, TX.
Position Responsibilities
Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Develops and uses collaborative relationships within and outside the organization to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals. Builds rapport and trust among stakeholders and leverages the organization's dynamics to promote program goals by focusing on a shared vision.
  • Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various procurement departments/disciplines. Knowledge of the interactions between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-Procurement processes (e.g., Engineering, Business, Operations, Logistics).
  • Ability to determine the process to be used to accomplish goals, properly document processes, know how to organize people and activities, understand how to separate and combine tasks into efficient work flow, identify opportunities for synergy and integration, and simplify complex processes.
  • Originates action to improve existing conditions and processes; uses appropriate methods to identify opportunities, implements solutions, and measures impact.
  • Knowledge of principles, concepts, practices, processes, tools and methodologies to assure confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and information systems. Understands current industry standard common body of knowledge (CBK) and common criteria methodology (CCM).
  • Skill and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
  • Practice goal-directed thinking and action in situations for which no routine solutions exist. Understand a problem situation and its step-by-step transformation based on planning and reasoning. Demonstrate ability to choose between alternative courses of action using cognitive processes such as memory and evaluation. Demonstrate ability to map processes of possible consequences of decisions, to work out the importance of individual factors and to choose the best course of action.
  • Effectively explores alternatives and positions to reach outcomes that gain the support and acceptance of all parties.

This is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite in Dallas, TX..
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 3 + years of experience working in a team atmosphere: Ability to work across functions (Teamwork)
  • Leadership and project management experience.
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience:

  • Knowledge of Procurement Processes & Procedure
  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
  • Supplier Management Systems Knowledge
  • Experience in Supply Chain/Procurement


Typical Education & Experience :
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation :
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate Dallas, TX area or relocate at their own expense.
