We are looking for a business savvy Principal IT Business Analyst for Data and Analytics, who is passionate and has proven experience around Data Analytics and Data Platforms, with a desired focus on projects for Cloud-Based Analytics, Dashboarding and Reporting. A DAY IN THE LIFE
In this role your primary focus will be to combine your Data and Analytics skills with your passion and experience for executing projects for multiple business and functions stakeholders, working every day to understand their goals, business challenges and expectations to build innovative cloud-based Data Management, Analytics and Data Warehousing solutions, using a combination of modern cloud-based technologies with on-premises systems. Duties and responsibilities will include:• Gathering and documenting requirements for data analytics projects.• Ensure quality of project delivery by designing and executing detailed quality testing plans for Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing, with proven traceability to original requirements.• Work closely with business and functional stakeholders to uncover the story behind their data.• Propose solutions to transform data into meaningful recommendations and actions.• Ensure that requests for support and enhancements coming from our stakeholders and partners are promptly delivered.• Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes.• Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.• Present information using data visualization, reporting and dashboarding technologies.• Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to achieve project's goals.• Extending company's data with third party sources of information when needed.• Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems.• Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.• Perform ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner.

MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)• Bachelor's degree• 7+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)• Previous Medtronic experience or healthcare industry experience• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (verbal, written and presentation). Ability to successfully interact with leadership-level individuals to discuss about business needs and potential solutions harnessing the power of data.• Expertise with modern reporting and dashboarding data visualization platforms. Proven experience with Power BI and/or Tableau is a big plus.• Experience working on a Cloud-Based Data & Analytics environment is desirable. Snowflake experience is a big plus• Experience working with commercial, sales, marketing and customer experience systems is a big plus.• Understanding of AI and ML based data analytics is desirable.• Analytical mind and proven experience around data analytics for the sales, marketing, and customer experience domain.• Proactive, innovative and with a strong sense of ownership for projects.• Proven experience gathering and documenting requirements for data analytics projects.• Proven experience designing quality testing plans for User Acceptance Testing for Data & Analytics projects.• Experience on using business intelligence and big data frameworks to create insights for business decisions.• Demonstrate dedication to continuous learning and improvement by staying up to date on emerging methodologies, advancements, and trends.
