JOB DESCRIPTION

As a PIM Business Analyst on the Digital Experience Team you will manage and support ecommerce technologies, serve on a scrum team and manage ad-hoc projects relating to PIM. The role serves as a liaison between customers, internal business stakeholders and the development team. In this role, you will be an essential part of the ongoing successful operation of our customers' ecommerce experience with the goal and responsibility to produce the highest customer satisfaction.

Job Duties:

  • Liaising with business departments to define, write and analyze requirements/user stories, design specifications, test cases, and test scripts for development resources. These will be PIM focused.
  • Supporting the Digital department with use of integrated website applications and tools
  • Work in Jira and Confluence to create tickets, epics, stories, and defects mainly focused on our new PIM.
  • Managing daily operational tasks and executing support processes in accordance with department SLAs
  • Testing and implementing new application components that improve our ecommerce experience for customers and our internal teams, making it easier for them to use and providing them more functionality
  • Keeping up to date on industry best practices, design, and standards for ecommerce
  • Managing major and minor project implementation or execution to support cross-departmental initiatives, strategies, or plans
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge-based articles on new projects/programs, daily operations, or commonly faced issues
  • Understanding tasks, goals, and needs of the target audience and translate them into creative concepts
  • Assisting test teams in quality assurance reviews to ensure that all the business requirements have been satisfied
  • Manage and own PIM triage tickets and system troubleshooting process
  • Test and replicate issues
  • Perform and coordinate software acceptance and regression testing
  • Participate in prioritization process and manage prioritizing issues/defects
  • Proactively assess and mitigate system risks
  • Manage deliverable timelines and work across teams
  • Act as an ecommerce PIM expert and resource to the DX team
  • Continually ensure clear and timely communication among all stakeholders
  • Help drive a data-driven decision-making culture
  • Participate in and knowledge of load testing process
  • Push and mentor resources to maximize potential
  • Continually help refine processes and documentation
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst working on mobile apps
  • 5 years of requirements gathering experience
  • 5 years in process documentation and process improvement
  • 5 years of experience with iterative development and collaboration systems (JIRA & Confluence)
  • Strong organizational/time management skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines within defined timeframes
  • High level of diplomacy and professionalism to work cross-functionally with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience/expertise in incident management processes
  • Experience working with modern technology such as web service, xml, json, iOS and Android platform features
  • Thorough understanding of the Software development life cycle
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and other methodologies - Ability to apply "the appropriate methodologies" to any given situation.
