The opportunity

Analytics is revolutionizing many areas of business and the management of people is no exception. EY's People Advisory Services (PAS) Analytics group leads insights-driven analytics activities to help our clients identify the drivers of key workforce processes. As a member of PAS Analytics, you will be part of a team with a wide variety of experiences including: helping clients understand how to most effectively utilize their data, ensuring pay equity for all demographics, predicting which employees are most likely to succeed, and developing custom analytic solutions for unique client challenges.

Your key responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to apply and develop advanced data skills, consulting best practices (including developing client relationships) and play an important role in helping us to deliver innovative and analytics driven solutions. You will work with data from multiple data sources and use the latest tools and technologies to form actionable insights. You will also have the opportunity to provide thought leadership and best practices required to deliver effective analytics solutions to senior executives, both internally and externally.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Demonstrate technical competency and take an analytics driven approach to solving complex client challenges
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine their key metrics, understand their business goals, and develop appropriate solutions and insights
  • Ability to manipulate, understand, and interpret complex data from disparate sources
  • Have a passion for data analysis, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a strong work ethic
  • Work independently, show a willingness to take the initiative, and be comfortable sharing your knowledge with the team
  • Ensure our analytics work is rigorous, accurate, and serves our clients well



To qualify for the role, you must have

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in an analytics related field
  • Bachelor's degree in in analytics, economics, statistics, computer science, or related field
  • Experience designing and building data visualizations and data visualization dashboards
  • Experience quantifying, manipulating and analyzing large datasets to uncover actionable insights
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • A passion for communicating analytical insights graphically
  • The ability to quickly learn new technical tools, and share your knowledge
  • Proficiency with at least one of the following: R, Stata, Python, PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, SPSS
  • Ability to travel as needed
