Position: Marketing Optimization, Solution Development Location: 360 Lexington Avenue, 17 th Floor, New York, New York 10017
TEAM & POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Marketing Optimization, Solution Development is an integral part of AP Product Group that builds science and technology applications that feed the analytical engines for API. The team is comprised of motivated individuals that do exceptional work. They face challenges together and they win together. You will collaborate with a fun and agile team to architect, implement, test, and continuously deliver new features and products to our company and clients.
The Marketing Optimization, Solution Development will participate in the development for various resource allocation and decision models and tools, coordinating with other team members on application design, implementation, and testing. Assisting Fortune 500 class clients discover real-world opportunities and efficiencies in their businesses. YOU WILL OWN & COLLABORATE ON:

  • Analytic Partner's software tools and methods on business analytics, measurement, decisioning and optimization
  • Drive analysis of our core solutions through a reasonable knowledge of decision-making, optimization research processes.
  • Collaborate with tech lead, developers, and client engagement teams to deliver new & efficient solutions.
  • Provide product specific support to QAs, BAs, technical writers, testers & end users.
  • Conduct industry research and competitive intelligence analysis to provide insights on product innovation directions.


CAPABILITIES YOU WILL BRING:

  • Solid knowledge and experience in problem analysis, model formulation, optimization methods.
  • Problem solving and storytelling skillset by using logical analysis, visual models, and user story mapping technique to clarify complex concepts.
  • Understanding the analytical process from Data to Decisioning. ETL, Data Pipeline, Modeling, Decisioning and Visualizations knowledge & experience is a plus
  • Excellent multitasking and time management skill to manage stakeholders and to meet tight deadlines.
  • Hands-on technical skills in programming languages such as Python, SQL.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED:

  • Degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Math, Economics, Computer Science, or similar technical fields
  • Familiar with programming with Python
  • Knowledge of linear optimization/non-linear optimization concepts, problem formulation, and algorithms
  • Have the capability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment and solve a problem independently
  • Required experience: New graduates with applicable degrees may apply or 1-3 years of optimization experience in applicable industry is preferred


Preferred:

  • Experience of commercial or open source optimization software packages like CPLEX, XPRESS
  • Advanced graduate degree in a quantitative field
  • Experience in problem solving and data analytics
  • Experience of Database system, like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.
