What you can expect as the Marketing & Business Data Analyst:

Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing marketing activity performance, ad-hoc analytic requests, and developing and automating regular reports. Provide actionable overall market and customer insights to address key strategic questions. Monitor and support marketing automation efforts using Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud as well as other business efforts as needed.

  • Create communications and presentations in collaboration with divisional leadership to provide market and consumer insights for Marketing and Sales departments.
  • Interact with Sales and Marketing to define reporting needs, develop new tools and reporting to support those needs and refine as needed. Evaluate customers? online behavior and provide insights and recommendations for further enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with broader organizational leadership and managers in creating communications and completing analyses.
  • Develop new tools and reporting mechanisms to define and measure business performance related to marketing, sales, ease of business, and other operational metrics to support management decisions.
  • Establish procedures and execute ad-hoc data requests from divisional leadership to support marketing, sales, and ease of business initiatives.
  • Analyze A/B and Multivariate tests, communicate results and provide recommendations.
  • Create and maintain marketing analytics dashboard, reviewing and advising on metrics including, but not limited to, email sends through Marketing Cloud, events activity, direct mail efforts, and web.
  • Develop strategy for sales and marketing lead scoring through Salesforce to identify, analyze, and report on the campaigns and channels that result in high-quality leads.
  • Coordinate and collect information from a variety of sources to analyze, interpret and communicate findings required to support business decisions.
  • Partner with Marketing team to ensure data integrity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Utilize Salesforce reporting and campaign functionality to establish standard set of criteria to create consistency and comparability. Ensure campaign setup directly correlates to desired outcomes and learnings.
  • Contribute to and monitor the performance of email campaigns and journeys, for quality control purposes and to ensure data integrity is achieved.
  • Act as liaison between IT and other operational areas and Sales to define reporting requirements, test systems, collect data, combine data sources and generate reports.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analysis or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years' work experience in marketing research, statistical or data analysis (or academic equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience in advanced analytic and statistical techniques related multivariate and A/B testing, digital revenue attribution, customer segmentation, and marketing effectiveness preferred.
  • Experience building and automating management level reporting preferred.
  • Experience in SQL preferred.
  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis.
  • Highly proficient with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Access, and other common database/reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical skills including high proficiency with database and reporting tools.
  • Ability to bring an experienced perspective on Marketing Automation and the optimization of email marketing to best support company initiatives.
  • Proven ability to build effective internal and external relationships and effectively influence individuals at all levels (from executive to front-line).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability in handling concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Criminal background check required.
