About the team:

Robinhood Securities, LLC (RHS) is Robinhood’s clearing broker/dealer, and the RHS Risk Oversight & Strategy team is responsible for building and maintaining risk frameworks, conducting risk analytics, developing tools and dashboards, and establishing the practices needed to address risk exposures RHS faces. We need a motivated self-starter for our Clearing Risk Program Team to execute critical financial risk management functions including conducting research, margin and trading risk analysis, and liquidity risk analysis to enable risk optimization and sound decision making.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Design, build, and monitor financial risk metrics to manage market and liquidity risk
  • Conduct data analytics and build programs within our data infrastructure to implement portfolio risk stress tests, financial risk indicators and automate continuous risk monitoring
  • Work with cross functional teams across the firm to design and perform tactical financial risk management activities by building tools that identify conditions where action is required to address high risk positions

About you:

  • Ability to learn quickly, think critically, and apply problem-solving skills to resolve issues and implement operational improvements
  • 3+ years of financial risk experience in the brokerage, investment banking, or trading industries.
  • Strong understanding of macroeconomics, financial markets, investment instruments and theory, and trading strategies.
  • Familiarity with quantitative financial risk concepts such as Value-at-Risk, expected shortfall, option pricing models, and stress testing
  • Data analysis skills applying tools/languages such as Python, R, SAS, SPSS

Bonus points:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a quantitative field
  • SIE, Series 7, and Series 63
  • Risk management or financial analysis certification(s) such as CFA and FRM
