As a member of the IT Management Team, you are responsible for managing, developing, and leading a team of employees. Your role includes leading the specific functional responsibilities of your team, which involves overseeing team performance and deliverables. The Data Supply Data Engineering Team is responsible for the data pipelines/integrations from various data sources (i.e. both internal & external) to certified data sets that are consumed by Managed/Enterprise Reports, Self Service Reports, Data Science/Machine Learning Models, and Core Data APIs.

• Partners with teams across IT in the delivery and support of data APIs/Services

• This is a full-time management/leadership position (45 hours per week).

REQUIRED

• Proven leadership skills and experience managing and developing a diverse team in IT
• 5 years experience with Data Modeling and Data Warehousing (i.e. Star Schemas)
• 3 years experience with data integration techniques such as Data Replication, Change Data Capture (CDC), ETL, ELT, event/message based integration, etc.
• Strong understanding of database storage concepts (data lake, relational databases, NoSQL, data warehousing, etc.)
• Must be responsive, able to work under pressure in crisis with a strong sense of urgency.
• Proven ability to speak in front of groups and facilitate meetings.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and effectively engage with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Must be flexible and able to provide effective management in a transitional, ever-changing environment.
• Must have proven ability to manage priorities and timelines.
• Must possess a strong work ethic, demonstrated attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
• HIPAA Training and Supervisors Orientation (within 30 days of hire); Leadership Development 101 (within one year); Costco Pay Policies (within 90 days of promotion).

• Experience with Relational Databases (i.e. DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
• Experience with cloud based Data Platforms (i.e. Azure Platform Services - Azure SQL DW (Synapse), ADLS, Azure Event Hub, Cosmos, Databricks, Delta-Lake, etc.)
• Experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and/or other Informatica tooling (i.e. PowerCenter, Axon, EDC, etc.)
• Experience delivering data solutions through agile software development methodologies.
• Ability to recognize and adopt best practices for in Data Management & Data Governance
• Able to provide oversight and enforcement of Costco policies in coordination with both Compliance & Information Security
