Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities
The Hyperscience System Analyst will be using the Hyperscience interface to ingest, map, train and deploy document layouts for Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and extraction of data. The analyst will be working with a team of fellow analysts training the Hyperscience system on the OCR extraction rules for unique pages and documents. This work requires critical thinking and attention to detail. Looking for quick learners able to assume responsibility for their work with light supervision. Prior experience with interactive document interfaces, document management, or OCR are a plus but not required. This is a good entry level role for practitioners interested in working with applied AI solutions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• At least 2-years of experience effectively communicating updates and/or issues related to defining OCR extraction rules for unique pages and documents
• At least 2-years of experience being proficient in critical thinking and independent problem solving
• At least 2-years of experience learning different applications and ability to work in a technical environment
• At least 2-years of experience and Proficiency with Jira/Confluence to update access tickets and develop/maintain integration documentation
• At least 2-years of experience & familiarity with cognitive, automation, and related emerging technologies and techniques
• At least 2-years of experience with Broad-based general technology ecosystem and industry understanding
• Strong attention to detail

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 2-years of experience with interactive document interfaces, document management, or OCR Experience with Public Sector Clients (US Federal, Higher Education, State and Local Governments) General knowledge and experience with leading automation software products
