The job title says it all. There are three critical requirements for the role:

  • Expert - you are an individual contributor with 3-5 years of experience in cyber security, data analysis, and/or machine learning (time can overlap)
  • Cyber - you share a commitment to cyber security excellence and have direct operational experience in cyber security, preferably incident response
  • Threat Analytics - you have practical experience in detection engineering, threat hunting, data analysis, or machine learning and have a suitable development/information technology background


The ideal candidate has expert level experience in operational incident response, threat hunting, and detection engineering. They apply a wide range of data analysis techniques to identify suspicious and malicious activity and actively grow and mentor others in this fusion of threat and data analysis. Proficiency in data visualization, scripting, and programming languages like Python, to enable automation, would be a great help to you. Nike is a cloud first company, so AWS, Azure, and GCP experience must be acquired at some point.

Open to remote work, except cannot work in South Dakota, Vermont, and West Virginia. These candidates will be required to relocate.For employees based in Colorado, this position starts at $163,000 per year. Information about benefits can be found here .
