The Engineering Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for leading a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead efforts to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned framework.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Enterprise Analytics Services Capacity Management
  • Create, Define, Implement and Communicate EAS services policies, procedures, and guidelines for services level capacity management for team and clients. For Example - Shared platform nodes (Data + edge) expansion, YARN & Impala definition and policies, project specific deliveries, HS2 etc.
  • Estate management - Inventory management, Backlog tracking, New expansions, Forecasting Coordination.
  • Understanding of hardware and configurations.
  • Capacity 360o - Register Demand, Submit delivery orders, Publishing timelines to clients & service owners, closing loop and obtaining sign-offs on delivery.
  • Services Ratecard -
    • Greendollar - Creation, ongoing updates and maintenance
    • Bluedollar - Define model and distribution to clients
    • Finance Data Modernization
  • Alignment with enterprise datacenter strategy
  • Collaborate with clients and review Data & Analytics (Big Data, AI / ML, BI, Spark, Privacy, Lineage etc,) usecases, assess services suitability, and completeness of requirements.
  • Track, Confirm & Report on Approvals, Financial Commitment, Risks and Milestones for Projects
  • Reporting:
    • Generate and publish monthly inventory report.
    • Publish updates to clients on delivery
    • Partner with Service pillars on their expansions
  • Tracking and reporting accomplishments, monthly operating review etc.
  • Have a positive attitude to drive success and provide value for the client.
  • Techno-functional leader who gets what we are trying to achieve with Data & Analytics for the business at the same time possess a technology aptitude.



Req Skills / Qualifications:

  • 8+ Years as a Technical Project Lead
  • Must be Familiar with Development of Distributed Applications
  • Must be familiar with Big Data, Analytics, ML, BI, Data Management, Data Processing, Data Lineage and Common Business Use Cases Competency
  • Clear Communication Skills and follow-through on action items for a diverse set of business and technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields: Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Mathematics, or Analytical / Tech Management - Required
  • MS Office Applications proficiency (Excel, PPT, Visio, PPM, Doc etc.)
  • Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
  • Project Management experience
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices
  • Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Proven track record of operational process change and improvement
  • Metrics and Reporting



Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
