This Engagement Manager Capability Analytics and Business Excel is part of the GP Decision Analytics organization and work with the businesses units & capabilities to support their reporting and analytics needs.

Key dimensions of the role:

  • Growing our offshore BI COE to expand service offerings to cover other analytics and transaction support
  • Creates efficiencies by centralizing standard reports across the organization
  • Provides strategic insights and decision support to business partners through reports, analytics, and insights

This Engagement Manager works with all levels of the GP Finance organization including executive management and senior management. Also works with other functional groups like KGS, HR, Controllers, Treasury, Procurement, S&OP, Supply Chain, Operations, Compliance as well as the business units, divisions, and operations.

What You Will Do In Your Role

The Engagement Manger has the authority to work independently and manage global projects and tasks to a successful completion. Will work directly with key business / functional / technical leaders in the organization to understand current and future reporting and analytic requirements and execute on a plan to meet those needs. Evangelize the use of data and analytics to the organization and find ways to leverage the KGSI Reporting and Analytics COE to create a competitive advantage for GP that results in superior value creation for the stakeholders. Scope of work will primarily cover functions such as Finance Controller, Finance Planning, Accounting Organization. Will interact with other areas such as HR, IT, Treasury, Procurement, S&OP, Supply Chain, Operations, Compliance etc.

  • Work with the finance and controller organizations as well as other supporting capabilities to provide services to help enable and accelerate their priorities through analytics, technology, and application of Principle Based Management



  • Work closely with the KGS Leaders on establishing a Finance Reporting, Analytics and Business Excellence capability. Leverage comparative advantage between local and global resources to ensure optimal use of talent and distribution of work across the team.



  • Work with function and business leads to find opportunities to move transactional or common reports into the COE organization and utilize robotics and process automation to drive improvements. Establish and execute on service levels with each stakeholder group.



  • Work with the KGS Reporting, Analytics and Business Excellence team to produce data driven insights using various analysis techniques and provide ongoing reports, analysis, and commentary. Work to continuously improve the value of the commentary and insights being provided.



  • Identify opportunities to improve the information delivery mechanisms through improved processes or application of superior technology. Move from static financial reporting to dynamic, on demand reports.



  • Work closely with IT to ensure systems and technology roadmaps for analytic tools, processes and structures are aligned.



  • Drive efficiencies and a culture of continuous improvement in all areas of Reporting, Analytics and Business Excellence team. Look for new and innovative ways to solve problems.



  • Follow PBM guiding principles and ensure all analysts apply PBM principles as part of their daily tasks. Lead by example to create a PBM Center of Excellence that will be applied for all current and future team members.



The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, BI or other related field of study
  • 5+ years in Reporting and Analytics roles with increasing responsibilities; Minimum 3 years working with offshore teams.
  • Strong financial acumen and cross functional business acumen including areas such as Accounting, Finance, Logistics, Pricing, S&OP, Procurement, and Sales Operations.
  • High degree of problem solving and critical thinking skills to perform deep analysis, identify root causes and create appropriate solutions cutting across divisions and functions.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a Global company.
