We conduct professional and independent investigations in order to identify fraud, recover lost or stolen assets, identify underlying control failures and root causes, enforce the policies of the firm, identify network security incidents and cyber events, and to cause and/or support prosecutions and civil litigation, if appropriate. Citi's Global Cyber Investigations Team seeks a highly skilled analyst to support critical efforts aimed at developing better ways to communicate highly complex investigative findings and thematic issues with clients and stakeholders. Citi has operations in roughly 100 countries and network footprint of over half a million devices. The resulting control environment can be nuanced and counterintuitive. In order to identify, escalate, and remediate both tactical and strategic issues, it is vital that CSIS can first establish a shared understanding of the situation and implications with our internal partners. This position is responsible for the production and maintenance of content that will be used by the leadership to help drive programmatic and enterprise change. This role will also be responsible for the curation of relevant documents governing the Cyber investigations program.

Responsibilities:

• Create standard and custom visualizations that meet team parameters while ensuring data validity, statistical integrity, and maximizing impact.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements and understand the KRI/KPI to measure the cybersecurity program.
• Develop key metrics to interpret performance trends, identify root causes, and support data-based performance improvements.
• Develop and implement a robust reporting suite enabling management to make objective, data-driven business decisions.
• Develop and design presentations to convey complex information in clear graphics to tell the story through clean, concise, and well-organized slides.
• Drive critical business decisions by designing reports, analyzing metrics, and communicating results.
• Defines and develops requirements for reporting, provides and explains guidelines for calculations for metrics and/or analysis.
• Writes technical materials such as operational procedures under guidance of senior staff.
• Revises and edits reports, presentation materials, procedures and other documents.
• Assist the CSIS Cyber Leadership team, with distilling information provided by subject matter experts and other teams into executive-level presentation decks.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Design, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and mathematical modeling
• Experience in visual information design and interactive visualization development with expertise in representing complex information in an actionable and high-impact way
• Strong presentation skills - experience developing executive presentations, succinct storytelling and ability to make the complex simple
• Excellent organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy required
• Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports

Knowledge and skills

• Proficient in developing infographics and have a proven expertise in visual storytelling.
• Strong technical writing skills with the ability to translate technical information into relevant documentation
• Ability to rapidly iterate though conceptual ideas or designs
• Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills
• Ability to manage quick turn-around and longer-range projects simultaneously
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Working knowledge of Cyber security, Cyber risk and security controls desired
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple simultaneous requests.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and listening skills.
• Proficient in grasping complex technical concepts and articulate them to different audiences.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment
