IMO is looking for a self-motivated Data Solutions Architect to help accelerate our growing Data Quality Platform adoption. IMO is developing a healthcare Data Quality Platform, which includes an integrated suite of tools to automate, as much as possible, healthcare data ingestion, profiling, normalization, curation, transformation, data pipeline management, and data modeling which precedes data analysis. If you are an experienced healthcare data engineer, who’s worked in the trenches of this process, you know how challenging it can be. Data is the key enabler to achieving lower healthcare costs, higher quality outcomes for patients, and the acceleration of clinical research. As a Data Solutions Architect, you will frequently interact with our customers, gain an understanding of their data quality requirements and gaps, assist in visualizing how IMO can help address those requirements, conceptualize migration options, assist in developing integration architectures appropriate for the customer's healthcare technology landscape, and carry out the necessary rapid prototypes to quickly demonstrate the value.
Be the technical advocate for IMO's data quality platform, work closely with product marketing on product messaging, deliver technical webinars emphasizing the simplicity of connections with key healthcare data management platforms, provide code samples in github, support the community to improve adoption and more.

Responsibilities
- Engage customers, understand their needs and gaps, technical requirements and architect solutions to meet requirements
- Provide Architecture/Design guidance for consistent integration of IMO products/APIs/Widgets in the customer eco-system
- Create model architectures, integration best practices, sample applications, user guide and explain complex business ideas in a simplified manner
- Develop necessary prototypes to demonstrate the integration and value
- Develop and share code samples in github
- Regularly conduct product messaging, webinars and synthesize customer feedback to support product roadmap
- Actively participate in healthcare connect-a-thons and stay tuned with standards-based interoperability
- Continuously lookout for industry trends, develop PoC and validate new architecture
Requirements
- Hands on production experience with microservices, event-driven architecture/design experience in cloud environment. AWS or Azure preferred.
- Interoperability implementation experience leveraging one or more healthcare integration standards such as HL7, FHIR, terminology servers to support standard code systems (ICD-10, SNOMED, CPT, LOINC, RXNORM etc).
- Integration experience with commercial platforms such as Lyniate and InterSystems solutions.
- Experience in mining patient encounter notes using one or more industry standard NLP engines.
- Experience in manipulating and analyzing largescale healthcare data including patient data, operational, clinical/EHR datasets and value sets.
- Experience leveraging the OHDSI platform and OMOP data modeling.
- Hands-on Python development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Spark, Hadoop, Airflow and big data management tools.
- Hands-on experience with one or more RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in DataBricks or Snowflake platform is desirable.
- Cloud platform experience is required, experience in AWS or Azure is desirable.
