We are looking for a technical contributor who can drive innovation around the monitoring, reporting, and analysis of large-scale health programs and internal initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience exploring and analyzing real-world data and will feel comfortable tackling open-ended or ambiguous problems. We seek candidates with great communication, accountability, empathy, and an attitude toward learning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with limited supervision from more senior team members to independently lead, define strategy, and execute on projects. 
• Lead the definition and implementation of data validation and data monitoring plans for both client and internal programs. Create and maintain dashboards, automated reports, and/or pass/fail test suites.
• Develop metrics to monitor the status and success of initiatives, products, and programs at Evidation.
• Contribute to cross-functional discussion, planning, and execution of medium to high complexity projects.
• Communicate findings, roadblocks, and timelines cross-functionally to ensure project objectives are supported. 
• Develop and review analysis code as a major responsibility (typically up to 50-70% of the time).
• Mentor and coach more junior team members with diverse backgrounds to drive learning and engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

• Masters in relevant discipline with 1+ years of experience in a related field, OR
• Bachelors in relevant discipline with 2+ years experience in a related field(s)
• Proficiency in SQL and either Python, Matlab, or R (preferably Python)
• High level of motivation and willingness to learn new tools and ideas

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience tracking multiple requests, setting and meeting realistic deadlines, and being transparent about setbacks. Self-driven and comfortable working largely independently. 
• Excellent data visualization and scientific communication skills, particularly in conveying quantitative information to a non-technical audience.
• Experience clarifying ambiguous requirements or questions, translating them into data analyses, pulling data from multiple sources, and using data to propose solutions.
• Experience with Github, dbt, and dashboarding tools like Tableau, Looker, and/or AWS QuickSight
• Demonstrated rigor in analytical thinking and familiarity with statistics.
• Ability to work well with people from different teams across the organization. Experience in an interdisciplinary/cross-functional field.
• Familiarity with research best practices and/or good clinical practice (GCP) guidelines
