What you'll do:

• Discover and communicate patterns in your business domain (e.g., trucking economics, shipping performance) using your quantitative analysis and data communication skills
• Influence metrics by identifying impacting levers, making recommendations to other teams, and measuring impact
• Empower stakeholders to understand patterns in your domain by defining core metrics and designing / building / maintaining self-serve analytics (i.e., business intelligence tools)
• Inform Deliverr's decisions around your domain by providing insights via sound analysis

What we're looking for:

• A minimum of an undergraduate quantitative degree in applied statistics, analytics, economics, or similar
• A minimum of two years of experience as a Data Science Analyst, or similar
• Proficiency in Python and PostgreSQL (or other SQL dialect)
• Ability to build effective reporting (e.g., reports, dashboards)
• Urgency for action - over rigor when necessary
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and adapt in a rapid-growth startup
• Precise and concise communication

Bonus points for:

• Experience working in logistics or e-commerce industry
• Experience with dbt

This position is remote, however, employees must reside in the US or Canada in accordance with employment laws.
