We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Integrity and Analytics Lead to join our team with the Office of General Manager's Division.

The Data Integrity & Analytics (DI&A) Lead will assess needs, build relationships, manage projects, and provide research to turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. Job Description:

  • Drive data-driven decision-making using project performance data, including:
    • Resource loading (simplified) and overallocated resource reporting
    • Percent complete
    • Risk identification and mitigation
    • Other tools to aide project management
  • Works closely with Project Management Discipline Lead and Project Controls Group to provide enterprise solutions for project schedules and financial estimating and reporting
  • Works closely with Business Intelligence team to identify opportunities for automation. Lead automation efforts and develop automation improvement KPIs where feasible
  • Works closely with Project controls group to provide flexible Schedule Templates and Best Practices with regarding to scheduling and estimating
  • Identify training needs and work with Project Controls team to develop training regarding project scheduling, estimating, and financial reporting needs
  • Regularly audits project schedules and reporting/estimating to include WRAT, to ensure consistency, schedule usability, and best practice implementation
    • May delegate some of these functions to project controls group through a cross-auditing approach as development opportunities
  • Drive performance to plan to use KPIs implemented by departments
  • Manage resolution to project problems. Use consequential thinking to help evaluate the situation and prepare for future needs
  • Perform other duties as required



Qualifications

Requisition Qualifications:

This position has been posted at multiple levels. Depending on the candidate's experience, requirements, and business needs, we reserve the right to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised.

  • BA or BS degree in the appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university, plus nine (9) years of progressive and relevant experience. Additional relevant education may be substituted for progressive experience -or- requires two (2) years of college with courses in business administration or industrial management, and twelve (12) years of progressively responsible administrative and/or technical support assignments. Additional relevant education may be substituted for progressive experience
  • Experience in scheduling and estimating
  • Strong understanding of business management best practices, tools, systems, metrics, and process
  • Advanced communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience with the NASA Systems Development Lifecycle, Life Cycle Reviews, and associated products preferred
  • Ability to prepare written documents and to verbally present at various meetings
  • Exceptional ability to gather, organize, and analyze information to develop effective solutions
  • Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and schedules with limited supervision
  • Experience with mentoring and continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products

Essential Functions

Work Environment

Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).

Equipment and Machines

Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).

Attendance

Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
