Job Description
What you will be doing:
Conduct Data Management and Governance maturity assessment that involves collaborating with executive and functional leaderships, operational teams and various analytics teams and baselining current policies, practices, organizations, capabilities, gaps, and opportunities across the data landscape of FIS.
Develop an Enterprise Data and Governance strategy, framework and roadmap that focus on Master Data Management, Data Standardization & Curation, Data Quality, Data Assurance, Data Discovery, Data Enablement and Data Usage for the enterprise. Communicate, evangelize, and secure stakeholder 'buy-ins' for the Data Management and Governance strategy.
Establish effective Data Management and Governance structure, policies, practices, tools, workflows and operations and work with extended teams for successful implementations. Design and operationalize measurement system to evaluate and optimize the effectiveness of Data Governance function.
Engage with Functional leaderships and process groups to ensure effective enablement of data capabilities that drive enterprise and departmental Key Objectives and Results and business outcomes.
Work with the cross functional Data and Analytics teams to comprehend, prioritize and deliver data and operational analytics capabilities ensuring adherence to data management policies and best practices.
Maintain a strong relationship with internal and external Data Management and Governance professionals to foster knowledge sharing about best practices, use cases, and latest trends in technology.
What you bring:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.• Knowledge of Informatica utilities on multiple hardware/software platforms• Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., Agile/SAFe, waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development• Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external clients• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors• Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources• Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills• Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas• Proven project management skills• Demonstrated customer-focused leadership ability
