Summary:

InterDigital is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to conceptualize, design and develop reports and dashboards that transform data concepts into simple and clear communications for key business stakeholders. This person will identify visualization, reporting, and dashboard needs to support operational and strategic objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain dashboards that cater to audience levels that range from day-to-day operations to executive reporting while adhering to best practices and data governance.
• Fulfil ad-hoc reporting requests, maintain recurring reporting needs, identify sources of data, and apply transformation logic to create datasets for consumption in reports and visualizations.
• Support legacy reporting solutions
• Explore underlying data tables to quickly find anomalies and work cross functionally towards accurate data.
• Collaborate with the data warehousing team to source and structure data for reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with other report writers and analysts throughout the organization to coordinate tools and methods.
• Understand the tradeoffs between designing multipurpose dashboards vs. highly specialized reports.
• Other essential duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field of study
• At least 2 years of T-SQL (other SQL dialects is a plus)
• At least 2 years of Power BI
• Azure stack a plus
• Experience working with an Agile team a plus.
• Demonstrated understanding of design principles and aesthetics of business dashboards, data visualization and reports (i.e. look and feel)
• Passion for UX principles and ability to work with stakeholders to understand their needs in the design process.
• Strong ability to work well individually as well as collaborating within cross-functional project teams.
• Attention to detail and a collaborative and continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to raise issues appropriately and proactively bring forward solutions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities at once and recognize when to shift priorities aligned to business goals
• Ability to operate within a global environment
