Information Security is a top business imperative at Pure Storage. In addition to driving security in our Corporate environment and Pure Storage services, the Security team is deeply entrenched in the Pure Storage business. As such, we contribute to product roadmaps, branding, research and other strategic aspects of our products and service. We work across multiple functions, business partners and the research community. We are an engineering-focused team that seeks to stay on the cutting edge of security technology and the threat landscape.
We seek an experienced business analyst with a security background to join our team and help deliver insight into our security programs across our product organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Gather business requirements, identify data sources and validate desired outcome with stakeholders
- Transform and analyze security driven data such as customer security requirements, progress on internal security processes e.g. vulnerability management, security framework compliance
- Present data in multiple dimensions to stakeholders across organizational levels
- Deliver concise, actionable reports to stakeholders, explain analysis and point out opportunities for improvement
- Automate complex analysis and reporting tasks
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- 4-6 years of hands-on work experience in business intelligence and analytics (including at least 1 year within an IT organization)
- Experience reporting around security needs
- Technical knowledge of BI techniques and experience with tools like Tableau or Looker.
- Hands on experience interfacing reporting tools with APIs to extract and transform data
- Experience conducting data analysis and a scripting language such as Python, R
This position will start remote, with the expectation to frequently work onsite at our Mountain View, CA office once employees return to the office.
