The Challenge:
Warnings about cyber threats are everywhere and the constantly evolving nature of these threats can make understanding them seem overwhelming to the clients. In all of this "cyber noise", how can these organizations understand their risks and how to mitigate them? The answer is you - build your knowledge as a Cybersecurity Analyst who knows how to break down complex threats into manageable plans of action.
As a Cybersecurity Analyst on our team, you'll work with Navy programs to monitor, analyze, and detect cybersecurity events and incidents within information systems and networks. You'll participate in testing, deploying, and administering the infrastructure hardware and sof tware required to help manage the organization's Cybersecurity operational services effectively. Then, you'll help your team guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones. You'll assess the effectiveness of the organization's information security and privacy training program, including consulting on so cia l engineering exercises to ensure training remains consistent with current cybersecurity and privacy threats and policies , and assists in achieving full compliance with any / all laws and regulations, so they can make the best decisions to secure their mission critical systems. You Have:
- 6 years of experience in a cybersecurity field performing cyber engineering, cyber risk assessments, or cyber authorization activities
- Knowledge of vulnerability remediation asset management ( VRAM ) activities
- Knowledge of Navy cybersecurity compliance requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively and positively at all levels of staff and management to assure customer satisfaction
- Ability to climb multiple flights of stairs
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- IAT Level I / IAM Level I Certification
- Professional Certification, including Security+ or CASP
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with DoD and Navy Assessment and Authorization ( A & A ) requirements
- Experience with eMASS, ACAS and HBSS
- Bachelor's degree
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required.
