The quality data analysts will specialize in conducting proactive audits, quality control testing and user validation testing to ensure consumer reporting accuracy. The role will focus on ensuring that issues identified through multiple sources that result in an inaccurate representation of information about Consumer(s) on Consumer Reports (s) are permanently resolved. The role will ensure that new issues are recorded, tracked and monitored to ensure that all issues where the root cause of the inaccuracy has been identified as an act of omission on the part of the Credit Services Company's product, system and/or services are being resolved in a timely manner.

Job Description:

Job Duties

  • Research and review Credco FCRA products to ensure Data Accuracy.
  • Conduct statistical sample testing against the Internal Review process by analyzing and confirming the consumers' disputes against the data sources and ensure that the correct a determination on the next step of the corrective action workflow was taken
  • Conduct statistical sample testing against the Internal Correction process to ensure that the correct a determination, consumer report modification and compliance list data
  • entry was completed
  • Conduct statistical sampling of proactive quality audits of consumer reports
  • Generate and communicate monthly testing score cards results and hold all parties necessary accountable to conduct training and ensure results continuously improve
  • Closely interact and consult with relevant business teams to ensure objectives and

  • Conduct user validation testing on data accuracy software enhancements Conduct Root Cause analysis


Independence

  • Receives general supervision and is competent to perform most aspects of the job independently
  • Ability to make determination of audit function expected results and classify findings as pass or fail


Job Qualifications:

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Generally requies BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong understanding of U.S. consumer credit system
  • Strong understanding of data structure, format, and other elements from all three credit reporting agencies (i.e., Equifax, Experian, TransUnion)
  • Knowledge of data mapping
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to clearly convey technical issues to technical and non-technical team members both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work on multiple items simultaneously and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Must have knowledge of Bureau Raw Data used in generation of Credco Instant Merge product.
