The North America DTC Analytics team Powers Nike Direct growth through analysis & optimization of consumer experiences & services across stores and digital. They help inform key planning moments, orchestrate member-led product selection & lifecycle optimization, drive strategic member growth, and optimize business performance across the connected Nike ecosystem.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're looking for an Insights Manager to join our team. We want you to be passionate about understanding consumer behaviors and gifted at translating complex analytics into concise stories for the business. The continued success of the connected Nike Ecosystem hinges on making well-informed business decisions from insights delivered by this role. This role is ideal if you are motivated; comfortable working with ambiguity and relish the opportunity to work cross functionally taking on complicated business problems. This role requires you to be attuned to key consumer trends related to retail businesses and obsessive about how to integrate Analytical capabilities and data-driven findings into the business in moments that matter. Important skills are understanding how to work with large, sometimes unstructured data sets, and having expertise in data visualization packages and tools.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
Your day-to-day work will involve being a "data detective" and consumer advocate for our business. You'll collaborate with DTC leadership to deliver insights and recommendations on the best path to better serve our Nike Direct consumers and their evolving needs. Typical tasks include driving growth through channel-level & omnichannel analysis, monitoring ecosystem health to outline opportunities and risks, and developing new analytical solutions to empower business decision making. You'll be an integral part of building end-to-end consumer view and delivering recommendations that optimize our ecosystem consumer journey spanning both online and offline.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You will sit within the centralized Analytics & Insights function serving the North America geography. You'll partner with business leaders to help build, deliver, & optimize extraordinary experiences and services for our consumers. You'll also partner closely with multi-functional analytics, data engineering, and reporting teams across geos and globally to create and implement scalable insights to drive consumer engagement and growth in North America.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING?

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Statistics or related field, or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in data wrangling and strong SQL skills or similar experience analyzing large structured and unstructured datasets required
  • Experience in data visualization and building capabilities in Tableau or similar.
  • Proficiency in applying statistical methods and data processing packages, like Python, R, and Excel is preferred
  • Ability to work cross functionally and drive project alignment across a large, matrixed organization
  • High intellectual curiosity and growth mentality, with desire/ ability to learn new technologies and skills
  • Outstanding communication and ability to convey complex concepts into simple narratives for senior and business audiences.
