Client Manager

The US Business Intelligence team is a center of excellence that better enables our clients to maximize their return on investment in data, analytics, and Nielsen resources. The Client Manager position focuses on driving value of our consumer panel resources through designing, executing, and presenting analytic studies to meet client’s research objectives.


ABOUT THIS JOB

As a Client Manager, you will perform essential tasks needed to support Nielsen’s client base, working directly with clients and Nielsen’s internal business units to drive client value of our consumer panel data. You will embrace new tools and technology to increase the speed, efficiency, and accuracy of our insights. You will guide junior associates through leadership, training and support.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

● Independently complete consumer panel analyses using Nielsen’s proprietary tools to develop insights that drive client outcomes

● Demonstrate strong consumer panel expertise with clients and internal stakeholders, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to clients

● Provide support to Nielsen client teams by responding to ad-hoc data requests, answering questions, training, and providing analysis

● Ensure pro-active insights and action-oriented solutions are delivered to clients

● Lead and develop junior associates responsible for delivering against client commitments

● Utilize existing and develop new reports and templates for clients, and share best in class examples throughout the Nielsen organization

● Master propriety Nielsen tools, which you will use to help solve client’s pressing business questions

● Manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently

● Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes

QUALIFICATIONS

● 4 -8 years’ experience

● Consumer Packaged Goods or Retail industry experience preferred

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with BI Tools (MicroStrategy, Power Bi,Tableau) a plus

● Passion for learning and applying new technologies to business solutions

● Proven problem-solving skills using deductive reasoning, logic, problem solving and critical thinking

● Demonstrated mastery in data analysis and application to client business issues

● Skilled and polished communicator both orally and written with experience presenting to multiple levels at a client organization

● Ability to multi-task and successfully manage projects independently

● Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

● Experience working with Nielsen consumer panel data or competitive panel data assets and tools

● People management, training, development experience

● Able to work collaboratively with internal & external teams


EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree required (Master’s a plus)
