We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a talented, highly experienced, Business Systems Analyst with significant business workflow analysis, product maintenance (upgrades, new capability implementation, integrations, etc.) and third-party system support and administration experience.


The Business Systems Analyst is a mid-level position that works closely with Information Technology and business unit leaders across the organization to oversee the support, administration, and maintenance of key enterprise systems. This role will work diligently to improve product capabilities and increase workflow effectiveness through technology, strategy, and analytical solutions. With organizational and project goals guiding the way, business analysts are meticulous in their documentation and evaluation of potential solutions—always working to bridge the gap among departments to identify improved efficiencies, productivity, and return on investment.

Job Responsibilities

  • The Business Systems Analyst will serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between HeartFlow business units and third-party support organizations to plan, manage and oversee the support of key business solutions such as Salesforce, Kronos, Tableau, Confluence, JIRA, just to name a few.

  • Work with third-party subject matter experts to formulate creative solutions to business unit requirements and/or facilitate collaboration to address complex requirements
  • Establish project and maintenance calendars and monitor adherence to schedule
  • Create accountability for outcomes and facilitate tangible transformation
  • Assist in establishing a portfolio of business priorities and strategic imperatives
  • Coordinate the prioritization of projects and initiatives within a portfolio in conjunction with business unit leaders
  • Assist in the funding of business initiatives by partnering with the financial planning team
  • Collaborate with project managers on project initiation activities such as project definition, dependencies, scope, resourcing and budgets
  • Communicate financial updates to portfolio as appropriate to business partners
  • Recommend strategies and methods to improve implementation and workflow efficiencies
  • Maintain key partner alignment through regular touchpoints with executive, business partners, and third-party delivery teams
  • Provide leadership to resolve conflicting cross functional issues to bring alignment between partners
  • Communicate roadmap and portfolio status to executives and internal teams as appropriate
  • Partner with organizational change management experts to enable change

Skills Needed:

  • 5+ years’ of systems and business process experience
  • 3+ years’ experience as a business process professional with responsibility for several enterprise SaaS solutions with experience leading large and complex cross-functional projects
  • Ability to collect and develop requirements and fill in gaps where ambiguity may be present
  • Agile and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication ability (written and oral)
  • Strong organizational planning skills and understanding of portfolio management concepts
  • Effective problem-solving skills with an ability to identify issues and resolve or mitigate the issue
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Self-starter, positive attitude, ability to work independently, enjoys learning and staying current with industry developments, regulations, and best practices.

Preferred Experience:

  • Portfolio management experience in a Pre-IPO technology company setting
  • Consulting background
  • Vendor management experience

Education:

  • Bachelors +3 years or more years relevant work experience or an Associates degree in business or information systems management with +5 or more years’ relevant work experience, or 8 or more years of relevant work experience without a degree
