As a 2022 FIS University Program full-time employee, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, and professional development seminars. Furthermore, you will work with a team invested in your growth, development, and success, including quarterly performance connects with your manager and bi-annual merit reviews.
This two-year full-time program has start dates in January, March, June, and September with a dedicated "Learning Week" where you will;

• Learn how to work within a corporate environment
• Learn the structure of FIS and options for growth within the organization
• Hear from FIS leadership about their journey and participate in senior leader networking opportunities
• Build a network of your peers from across the organization

This position is for a January 24, 2022 start.
About the Team
You will be an active participant in the Business Solutions team, which strives to develop solutions for the company using rich data. You will be interacting with the business and partnering with them to identify the roadmap for the next year, understand where they're headed, and align these goals with the company vision. The team is structured into three agile streams that are fully self-sufficient and cater to developing solutions. These teams can work on projects in UK, US, and in the future, it will be global.
What You Will Be Doing

• Working with the team to understand the business requirements and translate those into technical specifications.
• Understanding and working on the technology stack that includes on-premises big data environment and cloud data platform.
• Providing analytical insights to the business by extracting and analyzing the data from the data warehouse.
• Collaborating with programmers, engineers, and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance
• Mining data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganizing said data in a format that can be easily
• Eventually graduating to designing and maintaining data systems and databases; this includes fixing coding errors and other data-related problems.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree from job discipline
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Self-motivated and willing to learn
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of data analytics
• Finance data analytics (Preferred)
• Query writing using SQL
