Department OverviewThe Product Orderability (PO) organization is a global group with teams in all time zones (North America, Europe and Asia). Product Orderability team supports the design and implementation of Solution Offers, product definitions, structures and configuration rules in the Agile PLM, Oracle EBS, Oracle CPQ, Oracle Commerce Cloud, Subscription Management and Revenue Management Systems and maintains it across regions and across departments within the Motorola Solutions.
Product Orderability team provides high quality and on time solution offer deliverables to enable flawless product launch and maintenance to realize business revenue. Motorola Solutions is going through Business Transformation Initiatives replacing legacy systems with the state of the art systems and methodology. Product Orderability team is key team driving many of these areas.
Job Description

We are looking for a Business Process Architect with experience in delivering successful projects and driving cross functional business process transformation to join the Process Architecture team within the Operations Department. This team helps evaluate, guide and approve any process or system change proposals for end to end Product and Services Orderability from Sales Quoting, Order Fulfillment, Finance and Service/Contract Management. You will be responsible for comprehensive knowledge of the current processes and systems utilized within the various business support functions in Motorola Solutions as well as understanding planned future state functions and optimizations. You will be involved in projects ranging from internal projects within Product Orderability Operations to larger and more complex cross functional projects that involve other business units such as Supply Chain, Service, Finance, Sales, Marketing and IT.

What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for understanding business process requirements, evaluating user stories and assessing viability and impact of project proposals on existing business processes. Serves as a Business Process Management subject matter expert.

• Work closely with cross functional business (Sales, Product Management, Service, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing etc) and IT partners to understand business processes and goals of project proposals. 

• Captures high level solutions and business process flows for major initiatives which have impact on business processes or system architecture. Analyze and highlight any gaps or inefficiencies within the proposals when aligned with cross functional business processes and system architecture.

• Perform Change impact analysis and define test strategy and scope to verify the changes to both business processes and systems end-to-end. Partner closely with IT Architect on the assigned projects to complement technical analysis with business analysis.

• Identify resources needed from cross functional teams to conduct business user acceptance testing events. 

• Provide guidance from cross functional teams on developing test scenarios and executing the testing during User Acceptance testing.

• Own and maintain important process documentation and workflow designs that are relevant to cross functional business processes and system ecosystems.

• Manage change across businesses to ensure impacted groups understand and agree to the business process changes.

Additional Qualified Skills:

• Experience in various methodologies for business process management across ERP and CRM systems. Experience with business processes in Oracle PLM, EBS, CPQ, Subscription and Revenue Management Platform and Cloud environments is a plus

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in management information systems, business operations or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in process or business architecture

• 5+ years of ERP and CRM experience
