As a Business Process Analyst in the Internal Auditing and Advisory Services (IAAS) organization, you will have the opportunity to work both independently and with cooperative team on supporting the overall AuditBoard (cloud-based, off-the-shelf) software solution, configurations, and internal processes. You will develop your professional network and leadership skills by participating on projects supporting IAAS strategic initiatives.
The Business Process Analyst will:
- Conduct AuditBoard administrative tasks, testing, and configuration changes.
- Provide AuditBoard configuration and process solution support to internal business partners.
- Investigate and resolve data issues.
- Maintain documentation, procedures, and training guides.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity and Process Owners to ensure compliance with Information Security Directives, Corporate Policies and Procedures.
- Work with internal business partners, external vendor, and other Caterpillar teams to diagnose and solve problems.
- Participate on projects to evaluate and test new functionality, configurations, and processes.
- Create reporting and data quality dashboards.
- Perform other analytical, user access and project related tasks as assigned.
- Maintain the IAAS website.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology or related field
- 3 or more years of progressive IT experience
TOP CANDIDATES WILL ALSO HAVE:
- Prior experience supporting internal and/or external applications.
- Strong knowledge of Caterpillar policies and procedures, and a general understanding of Caterpillar's organization.
- Ability to clearly communicate across various levels of the organization including business partner, IT teams and customer
- Desire and passion to learn and apply new technologies
- Ability to be a proactive self-starter
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve both individually and within teams
