Job Title: Business Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities

- Data analysis using Excel SQL or other ODBC toolsets with Oracle RDBMS and Azure cloud

- Document preparation (Functional Requirements - FRD)

- E2E mapping of source to target data ingestion to RDBMS and Cloud repositories

- SDLC lifecycle adherence and management of change control process and approvals

- QA support of requirements and testing

- Maintain documentation of data inventory mapping document and flow diagrams

Requirements / Qualifications:

- Two (2) to Three (3) years of progressive experience in a business systems analyst role

- Ability to manage concurrent multiple tasks and projects.

- Possess solid understanding of the industry high level understanding of business application sound understanding of organizational and process development.

- Understanding of business computer programming and constructs. High work ethic self- initiated learner pro-active high performer.

- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field or 5 years of related work experience.

- Intermediate SQL skills

- Programming or Analytical background

- Experience with EDI formats (HIPAA HL7) as well as custom formats (Text CSV)

- Experience in Healthcare industry (Medicaid Medicare) preferred

- Experience working with cloud based data repositories such as AWS Azure or Google

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
