Opportunity Overview:

We are looking for a Business Analyst to come join our awesome team. As the Business Analyst, your responsibility will be to understand the business use cases and collect the data requirements from both internal and external clients. You will work closely with the reporting, clinical program, and product teams to support different needs.

You will be part of a growing data management team within the technology organization.

What you will do:

• Partner with key business users and stakeholders to collect use cases and define derived data fields from a varieties of data
• Create and maintain definition library in cohere semantic layer that contains medical codes such as ICD, CPT, HCPCS...etc
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Support cohere measurement governance process and manage metrics definition repository

Your background & requirements: 

• 1-2 years experience at company where health outcomes were critical to the mission, preferably a healthcare analytics company or population health organization
• Passionate about improving the U.S. healthcare system and helping ensure every patient receives the best care possible
• Self-starter, able to work independently and excellent communicator
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM, public health, finance, economics, or other related field
• Bonus points:
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and/or Kibana
• Knowledge of healthcare claims, EMR, SDOH data
• Knowledge of HEDIS and other clinical / financial metrics in healthcare
