Position Overview:

The Business Intelligence Developer II will be a strategic resource on the Data Quality team within Signify Health.  We are looking for a talented Business Intelligence Developer II who is versatile and creative, who can be an integral part of a small team that will build next generation analytics and validations that support Signify and its partners.

The Business Intelligence Developer II will design, implement, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and other data visualizations in support of data quality initiatives. This position will coordinate with other team members and managers to translate business needs into technical solutions and provide technical assistance to users of generated data visualizations. The Business Intelligence Developer II will be responsible for developing metrics and solutions in accordance with data quality initiatives.  This position requires strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, to convey business information, technical and non-technical, to foster relationships with key business partners and stakeholders.

Qualifications:Education/Licensing Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Master’s degree in a computer-related field is a plus.

Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a report development, data science, business analytics, business intelligence or comparable data engineering role
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with Alteryx Designer and Server. Alteryx Designer Advanced certification preferred
  • Knowledge of SQL to write complex, highly-optimized queries across large volumes of data
  • Experience with PowerBI or an equivalent reporting tool to create impactful reports, visualizations, and interactive dashboards
  • Creativity to determine the best solution for a real-world problem with quantitative data
  • Healthcare industry experience in Risk Adjustment or quality-related field is a plus

  • Fluently speak, read, and write English
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize and multitask
  • SQL programming, server integration, and reporting
  • Curiosity and passion about data, visualization and solving problems
  • Creativity to determine the best solution for a real-world problem with quantitative data
  • Experience with reporting, descriptive statistics, probability, and cleaning big datasets
  • Willingness to question the validity, accuracy of data and assumptions
  • Enjoyment from collaborating with others in team environment
  • Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment

 Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Data Quality validation workflows in accordance with Data Quality initiatives
  • Evaluate and monitor server/workflow performance, to ensure optimization
  • Develop, deploy, maintain data quality metrics and related reporting
  • Investigate and resolve problems of data accuracy and availability
  • Participate in integral testing to identify problems early
  • Perform error and stress scenarios
  • Participate in design and code reviews
  • Identify opportunities to leverage existing or new tooling to enhance Data Quality
  • Develop and maintain data warehouse documentation
