Please review the following job description:

Responsible for contacting clients, completing life insurance applications over the phone, and then facilitating the application completion process for submission to New Business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Application Analyst will contact applicant(s), via phone, to ask the questions needed to complete life insurance applications.
2. Coordinate, review, analyze, and organize information relating to the completion of life insurance applications.
3. Ask and answer questions related to the life insurance application process (and possibly basic questions related to the underwriting process).
4. Accurately mark the application for signature and submission.
5. Complete all the appropriate supplemental application forms required.
6. Send the application to the client for signature.
7. Perform additional administrative functions as required.

Required Skills and Competencies:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. High School Diploma
2. Minimum 2+ years clerical and/or administrative experience
3. Proficient in the use of PC, Word, and Excel systems
4. Good typing skills (min. 35 wpm)
5. Possess strong customer service skills,
6. Be proficient in the use of most standard business office equipment (i.e. fax, email, copier, etc),
7. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
8. Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
9. Ability to evaluate circumstances and respond appropriately
10. Need to be very detailed oriented and good with numbers.
11. Ability to multi-task without losing your effectiveness.

Desired Skills:
1. Some college or secondary level educational courses and/or industry related courses
2. Experience within the life insurance industry
