The Sr. Analyst, CSG Strategy & Analytics professional will play a crucial role in supporting the explosive growth of Salesforce. The team excels at planning, sales strategy, business operations, analysis, and reporting.

This role is part of a high-performance team comprised largely of former management consultants. Success in this role means assisting the Customer Success Group (CSG) to drive the continued success of Salesforce by supporting our customer success strategy. Projects range from the strategic to the very operational and could include business planning, providing useful insights, supporting the creation of the retention strategy, evaluating growth opportunities, building / analyzing data sources of truth, and regular review of key performance metrics.

The results include detailed analytic models, custom performance analysis, building scalable reporting, and packaging findings into presentation-ready content for Salesforce executives. The role requires interaction with various areas of the organization and provides exposure to senior executives.

The successful candidate will have steadfast curiosity and possess a passion for creating innovative analysis to find opportunities for growth. Moreover, this person will excel at extracting insights from data and converting ideas to action.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver recommendations and insights that support senior partners (VPs and SVPs) manage their critical metrics
  • Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the business to influence and set market / account strategy
  • Understand the underlying data architecture supporting Customer Success and how to use it to report on business performance
  • Identify and optimize the true drivers of financial performance, efficiency, customer engagement and other metrics
  • Assist in developing and delivering presentations for senior executives to engage with their leaders or counterparts



Desired Skills/Experience:

  • 3 years of management consulting and/or business operations experience.
  • Valuable work experience passionate about quantitative analysis and logical reasoning including experience with SQL, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with CRM and data management
  • Great teammate able to lead and work optimally at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
  • Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities.
  • Self-starter with a high degree of motivation to excel
  • Detailed focus with the desire to quickly learn new concepts, business models, and technologies
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative field from an accredited university. MBA a plus.
