As the Adaptive Insights Modeling Manager, you will report to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis. You will own, manage and enhance Mission’s detailed, data-driven financial models in Adaptive Insights. You will gain an in-depth understanding of our business processes, revenue streams and workforce planning needs and help translate this knowledge into robust and accurate financial models. 


This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities

  • Lead EPM / financial planning and modeling in Adaptive Insights including agile model development, data organization, security and data integrity
  • Build, test and optimize key performance indicator (KPI) measurement and analytics in Adaptive Insights
  • Identify opportunities to introduce efficiency within our existing financial models; lead future model enhancements
  • Manage data integrations with other source systems such as QBO / NetSuite, SFDC and HRIS systems, ensuring timely and accurate ingestion of data into Adaptive Insights
  • Lead workforce planning processes within Adaptive Insights and develop dashboards and metrics that provide insights into headcount forecasting and growth
  • Create and maintain versions, scenarios, dimensions and attributes in Adaptive Insights, as necessary
  • Advise Finance leadership on Adaptive Insights modeling and reporting best practices and industry standards
  • Ad-hoc financial analysis and report development projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Mathematics or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Adaptive Insights or other cloud-based SaaS EPM tools such as Anaplan, Hyperion or similar
  • Expert-level spreadsheet modeling skills, including custom revenue and expense forecasting models for SaaS businesses
  • Financial and/or management accounting background
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik a plus
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification (required within 1 year of hire)
