The Yahoo Advertising Effectiveness group is looking for an experienced data analyst to join the team and work on data-driven analysis and reporting on advertising campaign performance.
Covering all aspects of the measurement and reporting of advertising campaigns, the successful candidate will need to have knowledge of both the digital advertising and media ecosystem and how advertisers measure the effectiveness of their media spend.
Day to Day:

  • Analysis and interpretation of advertising campaign data to determine measurement and effectiveness performance
  • Reporting of said analysis and campaign insights to the account team and or customer as and when required (either in person or via virtual meeting)
  • Feasibility assessment of future advertising effectiveness campaigns for new sales requests into the team (providing guidance on campaign size, budget and other key feasibility parameters)


Requirements:

  • A solid understanding of the measurement methods/technologies most commonly used
  • Client-facing experience and presentation skills and or experience
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence clients
  • Experience communicating technical content to all types of audiences
  • Experience independently scoping and executing research projects with clients and/or cross-functional stakeholders


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with statistical software such as R, SPSS and/or SAS
  • Experience with analytics tools including SQL/Hive, Hadoop/Spark, Python or equivalent
  • An understanding of the regulatory and or technological landscape (e.g. IDFA, Cookieless changes) and the impact on data-driven measurement and effectiveness solutions

If hired for this position in Colorado, the compensation range for this position is between $77,250.00 - $128,750.00. The compensation may vary depending on your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include additional incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, plus equity incentives. Yahoo provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, retirement, company holidays, vacation, sick time, parental leave and an employee assistance program.
