Data Visualization Developer

Role Overview:

The Data Visualization Developer will report to the Senior Manager of Reporting and Business Insights and will be responsible for developing and maintaining data visualizations with BI solutions. This role involves creating interactive dashboards and reports, analyzing data to provide actionable insights, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity, with a focus on contact center metrics.
This is a Hybrid position located in Frisco, TX. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis, typically 1 to 6 times a month. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to one of the two locations and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About the role:

• Develop and maintain interactive PowerBI dashboards and reports to visualize key contact center metrics such as average handle time (AHT), service level (SLA), and customer satisfaction (CSAT).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs for data visualization, ensuring that the visualizations provide valuable insights for contact center operations.

• Analyze contact center data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions and improve operational efficiency.

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data validation and quality checks, particularly for contact center data sources.

• Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support various business initiatives, focusing on contact center performance and customer experience.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data visualization, particularly those relevant to contact center analytics.

• Develop and maintain documentation for BI processes and data visualization tools, including technical specifications and user guides.

• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations in all BI activities, especially when handling sensitive customer information.

About you: 

• You have 5+ years of experience in business intelligence and data visualization, with a focus on developing PowerBI dashboards.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.

• You are proficient in data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or similar, and have experience with database management systems like SQL Server and Postgres.

• You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights, particularly for contact center metrics.

• You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

• You are able to work effectively in cross-functional teams, collaborating with stakeholders from various departments.

• You have a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in business intelligence and data visualization.

• You have knowledge of data privacy and security regulations, with experience ensuring compliance in all BI activities.
