We are seeking a highly Technical Sales Specialist to join our team, focusing on Data and Artificial Intelligence.
This position involves pre-sales support, client engagement, and ensuring succesful project initiation. Ideal candidates will have experience in both technical sales and technical consulting within service-oriented companies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to learn rapidly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the sales team in qualifying opportunities, engaging with clients to understand their business and technical requirements.
- Lead discovery, map business pains to data solutions, and define value hypotheses.
- Design high-level architectures (data ingestion, storage, transformation, governance, MLOps).
- Collaborating with technical teams to estimate resources and ensure feasibility.
- Overseeing the kickoff of projects you've helped sell to ensure proper handoff and successful execution.
- Lead strategic assessments (Data Platform, Analytics, AI Readiness, Governance) from discovery through executive readout: current state, gap analysis, roadmap, TCO/ROI.
- Facilitate executive value workshops: align business outcomes to data/AI initiatives, define success criteria, prioritize use cases, and build a 90‑day execution plan.
- Stay current on Data & AI industry trends, vendor roadmaps, and reference architectures.
- Proactively translate new capabilities into sales plays and customer value narratives.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in technical pre-sales or solution architecture roles, preferably in service-oriented companies.
- Deep expertise in Data: proven ability to design and implement end-to-end data solutions, covering the full lifecycle.
- Governance & Quality: Hands-on experience with data governance frameworks, cataloging, lineage, and quality enforcement (Purview, Collibra or similar).
- Ability to work across multiple cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCPs) and adapt to diverse technologies; Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric…
- Experience leading assessments, executive workshops, and PoCs/PoVs with clear success criteria.
- Experience writing proposals, and defending technical solutions to both IT and business stakeholders.
- Understanding of ML lifecycle and MLOps patterns (model registry, deployment, monitoring).
- Fluent in English and Spanish, with no doubts about communication skills in both technical and business contexts.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
