Tegra is seeking a Data Strategy Analyst to lead recurring client data operations within our Life Sciences Data Operations, Automation and Analytics practice. This role independently manages structured data workflows while contributing to solution design, automation strategy, and client-facing execution. Analysts are expected to apply strong technical judgment, navigate ambiguity, and ensure disciplined execution across data harmonization, ETL processing, reporting, and quality control.
In addition to owning day-to-day operations, Data Strategy Analysts proactively improve processes to enhance scalability, data reliability, and efficiency. Requirements
Data Integration & Workflow Ownership
- Lead ingestion, harmonization, and transformation of healthcare and sales datasets.
- Own end-to-end recurring ETL workflows, ensuring timely, accurate and reliable delivery.
- Perform advanced quality control analyses, identifying root causes and resolving data integrity issues.
- Manage crosswalks, matching and deduplication logic, and data consistency across sources.
Automation & Process Improvement
- Design and implement automation solutions (e.g., SQL, Python, VBA) to improve efficiency and scalability of recurring workflows.
- Optimize ETL and distribution workflows to reduce manual effort and enhance reliability.
- Recommend and implement improvements to warehouse structures and governance practices to strengthen data integrity and consistency.
Reporting & Client Engagement
- Lead dashboard refresh validation and implement reporting enhancements to ensure accuracy, usability, and alignment with client objectives.
- Translate business requirements into structured reporting outputs.
- Actively participate in client meetings, managing topics independently when needed.
- Mentor Associates and review junior-level deliverables as needed to ensure consistency and adherence to team standards.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong SQL and Excel proficiency
- Experience managing recurring production data workflows
Preferred:
- 2–4+ years relevant experience
- Python and/or VBA automation
- Power BI or Tableau experience
- AWS/Azure exposure
- Experience in client-facing analytics environments
