Salary Range: $75,000/year - $85,000/year
Job Description: The Data Specialist/Administrator is responsible for proper operations and workstation performance of all computers used to support MU and 3-M/365 efforts. The Data Specialist/Administrator is responsible for interfacing with Regional Maintenance Centers, Ship’s Force, System Commands, and TYCOM Staff on maintenance program software issues concerning performance, upgrade implementation and troubleshooting matters as required
Job Requirements/skill sets: The Data Specialist/Administrator shall have a minimum of five (5) years recent experience with U.S. Navy maintenance processes and working with U.S. Navy maintenance IT systems. The Data Specialist/Administrator shall have a minimum of 10 years’ experience with U.S. Navy maintenance processes and working with U.S. Navy maintenance IT systems in lieu of degree. The Data Specialist/Administrator must also have three (3) years recent experience in managing and maintaining at least 100 networked computers in working condition, including software installation and upgrades, routine maintenance, and updating of various installed databases and LAN systems to support classroom training. In addition, the Data Specialist/Administrator must have experience working with key Navy maintenance programs including OMMS, AWN, SKED, VSB, MFOM; as well as some programming knowledge.
Education Requirements: BA/BS Degree in Computer Science preferred
Security Clearance/Naval Facility Access: U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for U.S. Secret Clearance and be able to access U.S. Navy ships, military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.

Skills Required
