Responsibilities Include:
- Own analytical frameworks that guide the product roadmap
- Design rigorous experiments and interpret results to draw detailed and actionable conclusions
- Develop statistical models to extract trends, measure results, and predict future performance of our product
- Build simulations to project impact of various product and policy interventions
- Enable objective decision making across the company by democratizing data through dashboards and other analytical tools
- Other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of industry experience architecting, coding, verifying and operating large-scale data pipelines and architectures
- B.S. in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong familiarity with Databricks, including building models, creating job pipelines, and managing interactions within the platform
- Proven experience with clustering models and machine learning for marketing use cases such as forecasting, customer segmentation, and marketing mix modeling
- Solid proficiency in PySpark to handle and process large-scale datasets efficiently
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to think outside the box to uncover and solve hidden data quality or consistency issues
- Advanced understanding of statistical theory, including confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, and p-values
- Ability to design and implement scalable pipelines and analytical solutions that enable data-driven decision-making
- A mix of startup and large software company experience, comfortable navigating different scales and cultures
- Ability to work west coast hours
