Data Scientist

Purpose of the role

To use innovative data analytics and machine learning techniques to extract valuable insights from the bank's data reserves, leveraging these insights to inform strategic decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and drive innovation across the organisation. 

Accountabilities

• Identification, collection, extraction of data from various sources, including internal and external sources.
• Performing data cleaning, wrangling, and transformation to ensure its quality and suitability for analysis.
• Development and maintenance of efficient data pipelines for automated data acquisition and processing.
• Design and conduct of statistical and machine learning models to analyse patterns, trends, and relationships in the data.
• Development and implementation of predictive models to forecast future outcomes and identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to seek out opportunities to add value from data through Data Science.

What will you be doing?

Barclays Services LLC seeks Data Scientist in Henderson, NV (multiple positions available):

• Develop data modelling strategy the extensive and disperse sets of data.

• Collect across multiple contact points in the operations, development, and customer support journeya and conducted in-depth analysis of user behavioral data to identify patterns,

• unveiling opportunities, and establishing a cohesive understanding of user interactions with the service.

• Modernize and automate Analytics processes and Machine Learning pipelines to facilitate faster time to market for releases, adopting world class standard best practices in Data

• Modelling and Machine Learning to improve operational rigor and quality.

• Develop and deploy supervised and unsupervised Machine Learning models to support Operational efficiency.

• Spearhead the creation and automation of a comprehensive data pipeline and employ modern ETL processes for seamless integration.

• Explore the use of Generative AI and Large Language Models in Customer and Colleague tools.

• May telecommute.

Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $152,500 per year

Salary / Rate Maximum/yr: $167,750 per year

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
