Data Scientist

You will be joining the Data Science team, driving innovation in risk decisioning through cutting-edge machine learning. We work closely with data engineers, product managers, and risk analysts to build impactful, scalable models using GCP Vertex AI and our in-house Kafka-based feature store.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Designing and deploying models to support real-time risk decisions.
• Engineering features in our feature store, to improve model performance.
• Experimenting with new data science techniques and translating business needs into actionable solutions.
• Participating in team stand-ups, brainstorming sessions, and code reviews to refine workflows and solutions.

You will be driving the following projects:

• Credit Decisioning Model Development: Build and deploy real-time credit risk models, leveraging high-value signals and engineered features.
• Feature Store Expansion: Enhance our Kafka-based feature store to support low-latency, high-throughput data pipelines for decisioning systems.

• 3+ years of experience in data science 
• Strong experience with machine learning model development 
• Proficiency in Python and its data stack
• Solid understanding of credit/fraud risk modeling or similar decisioning systems.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into data science solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work in cross-functional teams

It would be a plus if you also have experience with:

• Machine learning model deployment
