Job Responsibilities :

This role is responsible for developing innovative solutions utilizing advanced machine learning techniques, designing and optimizing data pipelines, and enhancing recommender system capabilities. He / She will play a crucial role in leveraging large-scale datasets to generate valuable insights and drive data-centric decision-making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient data ingestion, storage, and processing for analysis and machine learning applications, via cloud computing technology.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the pipeline, implementing appropriate data validation and cleansing techniques.
• Design, develop, and build AI engines with various data science, machine learning and Gen AI algorithms, models for recommender systems.
• Evaluate model performance, perform relevant AB tests, and continuously improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Develop and enhance AI capabilities to improve model outputs and fine-tune responses, integrating with the AI pipeline.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand the data needs of various stakeholders across the organization and develop appropriate solutions that meet those needs, potentially translating them into scalable AI solutions for recommender systems.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science, AI and ML.

Pre-Requisites :

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, scalable and robust code using Python, SQL, Java.
• Experience in developing and deploying applications running on cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform using Infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, containerization tools like Dockers.
• Experience using orchestration tools like Airflow, distributed computing framework like Spark or Dask, data transformation tool like Data Build Tool (DBT).
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning techniques, reinforcement learning and other algorithms.
• Experience in working with large-scale datasets, data preprocessing, feature engineering, model tuning and Gen AI.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex business problems into actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
