About the position
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to advance cutting-edge Machine Learning (ML) & Deep Learning (DL) research as well as Generative AI (GenAI) innovation. This role offers the opportunity to develop and optimize ML models while also pioneering innovative AI applications. You’ll work on both structured, production-ready AI systems and experimental, next-generation AI solutions, adapting based on business needs.

Responsibilities
ML/DL Research & Applied Data Science:
- Develop, optimize, and deploy ML/DL models aligned with business goals.
- Conduct data exploration, preprocessing, and model enhancement to improve performance.
- Implement robust model monitoring pipelines to ensure reliability and mitigate drift.
- Collaborate with engineering & product teams to integrate AI solutions into production systems.
Generative AI & Innovation:
- Design and develop proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and rapid prototypes for emerging AI use cases.
- Implement LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agent-based AI, and multimodal AI solutions.
- Stay ahead of AI trends, applying state-of-the-art GenAI techniques in real-world settings.
- Present innovative AI solutions to internal teams and clients, iterating based on feedback.
Requirements
- 4-7 years in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI Research.
- Proficiency in Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, Pandas, NumPy).
- Expertise in ML/DL modelling & Generative AI (LLMs, RAG, reinforcement learning).
- Strong analytical skills for structured & unstructured data.
- Ability to translate academic research into real-world applications.
- Excellent communication & collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Background in FinTech, Banking, or AI-driven products.
- Familiarity with multimodal AI solutions (text, image, audio).
