Job Description

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with clients to understand their business objectives and translate them into technical requirements.
• Develop robust methodologies for analyzing and interpreting location data to extract actionable insights and drive informed decision-making for clients.
• Actively participate in project planning, progress tracking, and client communication.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers to access, preprocess, and integrate diverse datasets for analysis, and implement complex solutions.
• Develop and deploy algorithms and models to effectively convey insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

General qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in Data Science, Economics, Business Analytics
• 3-5 years of experience in data science or a related field
• Fluent English both writing and oral 

Technical requirements

• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Knowledge of at least one of the cloud platforms (eg. Azure, AWS, preferably GCP)
• Version control
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark
• Traditional ML projects (supervised and unsupervised)
• Experience with geospatial analysis tools like GeoPandas or QGIS is a plus
• Proficiency with data visualization tools, experience with Folium is a plus

Nice to have

• Previous exposure to telecommunications-specific datasets or industry challenges
• Experience with location data analysis and relevant tools
