As a Senior Data Scientist at FNA, you won't just be analyzing data–you will accelerate the development of our award-winning analytics software and impact financial stability and security on a global scale. About the role
Apply your agility and collaborative methods because one day you might be fine-tuning a model to simulate an instant payment system or detect suspicious transactions, and the next, you could be facilitating user-training or traveling to present your findings to C-suite executives at a leading central bank or financial market infrastructure.
- Under the digital twin framework, enable central banks with stress-testing and simulations to decide on the system design and features, and evaluate the economic impacts of introducing a CBDC with all processing rules, parameterization, and capacity constraints.
- Ensure the integrity of our clients data and provide advanced capabilities for analytics, automation, and.
- Actively participate as a contributing member of a team of subject matter experts and data scientists through the whole workflow from data access, processing and modeling, to data visualization and analysis
- Partner with internal FNA stakeholders and client subject matter experts to refine analyses, gain insights, present new findings and operationalize models into production
- Develop and present client specific solutions clearly and concisely, communicate analyses, recommendations, status and results to existing clients and prospects at business management and executive level
- Carry out research and development of new use-cases, algorithms and solutions - either as part of our product road-map or based on specific client requirements
- Act as product owner for specific features or models implemented in the FNA Platform
- Resolve client support requests in a professional and timely manner

Who we’re looking for:
- The right candidates will have at minimum 2+ years experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst successfully collaborating with external stakeholders to identify and address business challenges, utilizing a consultative approach to design and implement tailored software products or analytic solutions
- BA or MS qualifications in mathematics, economics, finance, statistics, physics, engineering or related applied quantitative fields
- You will have a strong mix of economics, finance, mathematics, stats, technical and client facing skills
- Technical Skills: Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL; Data analysis tools such as Pandas or NumPy
- You should be a team player who picks up implicit tasks, is self-organized and self-motivated, embraces autonomy and working remotely but enjoys the occasional travel to interface with clients for implementations, training and use case exploration
- Naturally inquisitive with the ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical personnel and isn’t afraid to present creative, data-driven ideas to stakeholders
- Efficiently balances accuracy and speed while getting things done
- You're a team player with tenacity underpinned by self-awareness and empath
- Fluent written and spoken English
