Data Scientist

YOUR MISSION AT VOI

As a Data Scientist/Data Analyst at Voi, you will own a business area from an analytics and data science perspective, helping your team make better decisions that create value for our riders, cities, and business. You will work across the full decision-making funnel: from building reliable data models and KPIs to designing experiments, uncovering insights, and driving meaningful change.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, business owners and other data scientists to turn complex data into clear recommendations and measurable impact.

You will:

• Apply the right methods for each question, from simple business cases to advanced statistical models.

• Lead data projects independently, from problem framing to insights, recommendations and follow-up.

• Develop and maintain data models, KPIs and AI systems that reflect Voi’s products, operations and business processes.

• Design and analyse A/B tests and other approaches to measure the impact of decisions, product changes or market events.

• Translate findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Collaborate actively with your team and contribute to healthy, inclusive and high-performing team dynamics.

WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK

We are looking for a curious and collaborative data professional who enjoys solving business problems, communicating insights clearly and working close to decision-making. You combine strong technical skills with a good understanding of customers, products, and business needs.

To be successful in this role, we believe you have:

• A few years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar in an autonomous and agile environment.

• Strong SQL and data modelling skills.

• Experience with Python, statistical modelling and experimentation.

• Experience designing, analysing and communicating A/B tests or similar impact measurement methods.

• The ability to explain insights, findings and recommendations in a clear way to different audiences.

• Experience owning and leading projects in the data space.

• A university degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Science, Engineering or Business, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience with dbt and a semantic layer is a plus.
