As a Junior Project Manager you will lead projects for Sky Data at Sky Italia.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate data & analytics projects ensuring deliverables are on time, within budget and meet quality standards.
- Manage the project lifecycle from the concept, feasibility to the final deployment and adoption, including benefits/performances’ monitoring phases, tracking progress and key milestones.
- Collaborate with Business units and Data & Tech teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Support the application of Data Governance best practices during the project planning and execution.
- Define, assess and monitor plan, risks, issues, dependencies, escalating when necessary.
- Prepare and monitor projects’ budget, tracking costs and reporting variances to keep projects on target.
Skills/experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in Project Management or Business Partner, preferably in Data or Digital environments.
- Good communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Understanding data concepts (Data Warehousing, Big Data platforms) is preferable.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
- Experience in project financial management (budgeting, cost tracking, variance analysis).
- Basic knowledge of data security and compliance.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Team-oriented with a hands-on mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in Italian and English.
